A 3-ingredient, simple side dish you can throw together in 10 minutes. The sesame salt is a yummy topper that works well on most roasted & sauteed veggies. Make this on your meal prep day and enjoy as a side or add to Nourish Bowls, salads, grains & pasta dishes.
4-6 servings
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds (black, white or a combination)
1/4 tsp pink or sea salt
4 cups French green beans, thawed (I used Trader Joe’s frozen)
Directions:
Combine the sesame seeds and salt in a mortar & pestle or a coffee grinder. Set aside.
Trim the ends of the beans.
Heat a large skillet to medium/high heat. Add the beans to the dry pan & saute for about 4-5 minutes, stirring a few times. You’re looking to slightly brown the beans, not burn them.
Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with sesame salt.
